Emily turned 5 this year. She had cupcakes at school to share with all of her new school friends. And they sang happy birthday to her in the cutest way possible...
She was crowned and she picked five friends to be the "candles" on her birthday cake.
Then she stood in the middle, while her "candles" made a cicle around her. The rest of the class was the "cake" and made a bigger circle around the candles. They sang happy birthday while circling her in opposite directions.
Then everybody helped her "blow out" the "candles"
and the "candles" fell down.
We went to the Rainforest Cafe for her birthday dinner. This is her "ooo"ing at the storm...
and this is her being her darling self...
and her cool looking, terrible tasting, volcano cake.
We had a family party for her birthday Labor Day weekend. Here's Emily having lunch with her brother and her cousins, Alex and Lauren.
This would be a great picture if his face wasn't so dirty. I'll probably see if I can photoshop it...
